Scott Peters ( Aka Kansas ) is a Los Angeles–based artist working in collage and mixed media. His work draws from the visual language of urban advertising, using fragments of street posters and billboard materials collected from across the city.

In the studio, these materials are cut, rearranged, and reassembled into layered compositions that balance graphic structure with painterly space. The finished works retain traces of their origin while transforming commercial imagery into abstract forms and shifting narratives.
